This reflection started one morning from Hallow’s daily Holy Spirit with Father Dave Pivonka.
Sadly, for too many people, they never experienced this love. The Spirit of God wants the love of God to be poured forth into our heart. And once we experience that love, it changes everything.
People often ask, “how do I know when I’ve experienced that?” This might not be helpful but when you experience it, you know. You just know. It’s different than any other love.
Love just is. God doesn’t choose to love you. He loves you because He is Love.
Lets pray. Come Holy Spirit. Lord, come with your Holy Spirit and fill us with a love that is beyond all understanding. Love that frees us from the shackle of sin, woundedness, of brokenness. A love that knows our failings and still loves us. Come Holy Spirit, fill us with that love.
