The Road is never secure nor set, we follow the Lord even in unexpected twists. Our intentions and plans were to be in Roswell NM for this Sunday’s Mass, but, the Lord mixed it up. We woke Friday in Beaumont TX to head west and our RV slide broke. We managed to get it closed but along the road decided it would be safer to get to a major location with RV service. Tucson! Our friends from Maine were along the road as well heading to Mesa. So we met them along the Road and headed into a new site in Tucson. The 1,200 miles in 2 1/2 days made a mess of finding Sunday Mass but the Lord provided when we trust.
St. Joseph Catholic Church has a Sunday evening Mass that was perfectly timed for us. St. Joseph’s is about a mile or so down the street from the main gate of Davis-Monthan AFB. Pretty church dedicated to our Church’s Patron, St. Joseph. I loved to stained glass depicting St. Joseph and the Blessed Mother watching Jesus work in the wood shop.
