Faith on the Road – National Shrine of Divine Mercy

Spread the love

The grounds of the National Shrine consists of 375 acres of land nestled in the beautiful Berkshire hills in western Massachusetts. In the town of Stockbridge on property called “Eden Hill” because of its natural beauty. The Shrine is usually open 365 days a year, including all holidays and holy days.

The National Shrine chapel itself, The “Shrine Church,” offers daily Mass, Confessions, Adoration, Rosary, benediction, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, the blessing of religious articles, and a blessing with a first-class relic of St. Faustina.

Most of our outdoor shrines are also candle shrines, which give pilgrims an opportunity to light a real candle for a loved one. There is also an opportunity to have a candle lit in the sanctuary of the National Shrine by requesting it online. You can also visit Marian.org for cards enrolling in special benefits including candles, novenas, daily Mass offerings and more.

This is a pilgrimage I highly recommend everyone make. A day at the National Shrine of Divine Mercy in Stockbridge MA is revitalizing and energizing, even in its peacefulness.

Saint John Paul II
“I desire to unite Myself with human souls; My great delight is to unite Myself with souls. Know, My daughter, that when I come to a human heart in Holy Communion, My hands are full of all kinds of graces which I want to give to the soul.” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 1385
