We’ve come full circle in the travels of our RV, Faith. She’s traveled nearly 11,000 miles as we towed her from Florida to Arizona through Utah and Wyoming up to Montana across the Upper Peninsula in Michigan and through Indiana, Illinois, Arkansas, Tennessee and Pennsylvania. It this past twelve months, we’ve visited about 45 Catholic Churches, taking you along in prayer and sharing many through the ‘Faith on the Road’ feature.
Today we come back to Gibsonburg and St. Michael the Archangel. The home parish of my bride, Connie and her family.
We weren’t supposed to be at Mass that Sunday but God changed plans and we arrived a day early. Of course, in the moment we didn’t under it was God making the changes. Monsignor’s homily was off the charts. He spoke straight to our hearts. God put on my heart that someone would be present with whom to talk about our story. We’ve been praying for God’s guidance on our mission. He’s put a mission alignment with Patrick and Joy Campbell upon my heart recently. At Mass, the President of Annunciation Radio was present with a plea to assist with their donation drive. As soon as I saw him, I knew this is who the Holy Spirit was directly me. We spoke after Mass, gave a copy of ‘I Knew His Voice’ and heard his story of meeting Mother Angelica. God is so awesome when we follow His plans. Recognize that those accidental events or ‘coincidental’ changes are God’s Will and the views of life changes dramatically. Consider donate a small amount to Catholic Radio – Annunciation Radio. Make a generational difference with this pledge.
This year, St. Michael’s has a new feature hanging over Christ’s seat of mercy. the confessional. The image of the Merciful Jesus – Divine Mercy image rests prominently over the place where His Divine Mercy rains into repentant souls.
Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do Thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the Power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits, who prowl through the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
