Our next stop is to spend some time with the family prior to heading south to Florida after Thanksgiving. This brings us to celebrate Mass at St. Maximillian Kolbe Catholic Church in Homestead, PA.
If you know me, you know I love St. Maximillian Kolbe. He is my top 3, beside the Blesses Mother, behind my Patroness, St. Faustina and St. Theresa of Lisieux. St. Maximillian Kolbe is a man’s saint – a saint willing to give his life for another. A saint willing to surrender and take the crowns of purity and martyrdom.
Prior to being renamed St. Maximillian Kolbe Catholic Church, this church was St. Anne’s. Back in May 1966, I was baptized at St. Anne’s Catholic Church – I could feel the Holy Spirit fill my soul as I entered His Church.
