Faith begins where understanding ends.
Our Lady of the Rosary has given us all the knowledge and tools to find our ways to God.
She told us through the children at Fatima, Lucia, Jacinta and Francisco to pray and not offend God “for He is much offended. To pray the Rosary every day.
She explained how things would get much worse if we didn’t heed her warnings. Our Lady told them there would be a greater war and warned many souls would not believe, ending up in hell.
She added, “Sacrifice yourselves for sinners, and say many times, especially whenever you make some sacrifice: “O Jesus, it is for love of You, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.”
How have we changed since 1917? The world was fighting towards ‘enlightenment’ during the apparitions of Fatima. It may be more secular now than ever in history. So many people fight openly against the Church and faith. Faith itself is condemned in the name of enlightenment.
So many souls now think they understand the world and life. They exclude God because He is a myth, as Marx said, “opiate to the masses.” They know the truth of climate change and gender and marriage and believe in diversity. In the same breath these souls attack anyone who has differing opinions and especially those who speak of their faith and believe in the Christian God. Lead by the beliefs and whispers of Satan, they condemn faith as stupidity. They believe in ‘understanding.’ If it can’t be seen, it isn’t reality.
But, that is precisely where faith begins. At the edge of understanding stands the man of faith. On this steep precipice stands the man who believes in God. This man is not afraid of the cliff before him nor does he look back to the safe ground in worry. Where understanding ends, he spreads his arms wide and falls in faith.
He is willing to sacrifice all for the God Whom he cannot see nor hear simply upon his faith. The man of faith leaps beyond what the mind tells him saying, “Jesus, I trust in You.”
This man knows it is better to lose one’s soul than to gain the world – Mathew 16:26. He can’t explain his faith, it simply is.
What does a faithful soul do to face this world secularism and anti-faith culture? Sacrifice in love and prayer.
“Sacrifice yourselves for sinners, and say many times, especially whenever you make some sacrifice: “O Jesus, it is for love of You, for the conversion of sinners, and in reparation for the sins committed against the Immaculate Heart of Mary.”
