Exalt in the Lord

“I will extol the Lord at all times;
his praise will always be on my lips.
I will glory in the Lord;
let the afflicted hear and rejoice.
Glorify the Lord with me;
let us exalt his name together.” Psalm 34:1-3

Lift your eyes and hands to Heaven. Give God praise and honor. For just a moment, hold nothing back – give the Lord all you can muster within to glorify Him. For just a moment, let go of all your stress and worldly cares, lift your voice to Jesus in prayerful song.

“Lift up your hands to the holy place, and bless the Lord!” Psalm 134:2

Now that moment is gone, do it again!

I extol Your Holy Name, O’ Master! To You, I give all honor and praise, to You be all the glory and worship, Mighty God! For You have overcome all the world, even death and sin! Your mighty arm has rescued me from my sinfulness, I exalt in You now and ever and ever. Amen

Set the alarm on your phone to repeat your own personal prayer of praise and thanksgiving to the Lord. Repeat it until it is a natural part of your being.

“Lord Jesus Christ, I am all Yours and everything I have is Yours, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, amen”

Teach your mind to praise God and your heart will follow. Teach your heart to glorify and praise the Lord and your soul will follow. Teach your soul to give praise, honor and glory to God and the world will follow.

“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.!” Philippians 4:4

Praising God should be as natural as breathing or even more so, as necessary, regular and unthought of as your own heartbeat. Give the Lord the glory and honor and praise of your life that He deserves – everything!
