“Look into My Heart and see there the love and mercy which I have for humankind, and especially for sinners.” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 1663
‘Don’t trouble of your sin’ may sound like an unusual heading. You should be concerned about sin inasmuch as you should diligently seek to avoid it. But if you were to realize that your understanding of the Mercy of God is but a drop of water compared to the ocean, you would not allow your concerns to turn into worries.
Sin, while a thing to avoid, through the Mercy of God actually can draw you closer to God. The whole key to this is never giving up in the search to deeper understanding of Divine Mercy.
Every sin’s fall can have the outcome of a heart breaking and turning back to God. Sorrow for sin and asking God for the grace to avoid sin going forward.
Rising from sin and turning back to God’s Divine Mercy in full trust allows us the classroom to understand the depths of that Divine Mercy even more. With more understanding comes more trust. That growing trust takes away our fear to come before God with our sin.
The key is simple – trust God’s Divine Mercy and get back up. The work of mercy is fully and solely God’s work. The only response we can have is to get back up after we fall (no matter how many times) and to repent (that is, turn back) to God.
The rest is in His hands. And, know that God is ALWAYS merciful. It’s in His Divine Nature.
“You see My mercy for sinners, which at this moment is revealing itself in all its power. See how little you have written about it; it is only a single drop. Do what is in your power, so that sinners may come to know My goodness.” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 1665
“Be at peace, My daughter. This Work of mercy is Mine; there is nothing of you in it. It pleases Me that you are carrying out faithfully what I have commanded you to do, not adding or taking away a single word.” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 1667
Reflect upon whether you are comfortable facing your sins with exceptional honesty. If you are not then that is a sign that you do not understand His infinite Mercy. Know that comprehending His Mercy is the best cure for every sin.
