“In everything you do, act without grumbling or arguing; prove yourselves innocent and straightforward, children of God beyond reproach in the midst of a twisted and depraved generation—among whom you shine like the stars in the sky.” Philippians 2:14-15
Do it for God. Everything – every thought, every word, every action and every prayer. Do it for God.
Every soul should strive to live for tomorrow – I’m not talking about 24 hours from now but the eternal tomorrow. This will move the soul into the Divine Eternal Will of God.
What a blessing to be a vessel for God’s graces and mercy for souls! We cannot measure the worth of our thoughts, words, deeds not even our actions. The tiniest act or a single kind word could ring in eternity and echo in the halls of Heaven greater than something that appears to be a great action affecting many.
“I demand from you deeds of mercy, which are to arise out of love for Me. You are to show mercy to your neighbors always and everywhere. You must not shrink from this or try to excuse or absolve yourself from it. I am giving you three ways of exercising mercy toward your neighbor: the first — by deed, the second — by word, the third — by prayer. In these three degrees is contained the fullness of mercy, and it is an unquestionable proof of love for Me. By this means a soul glorifies and pays reverence to My mercy” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 742
Even our most secretive action, our thoughts, have great impact within the Kingdom of God. If we allow even one bad thought to settle within our mind it will become a pollutant to sanctity. One angry deed spills over to many other lives. Even a selfish or missed prayer can take away great graces from someone dear or whom we never met.
Give every thought, word, deed and prayer to eternity. Give it all to and for God. Then just do the little things – do them with vigor and love for God.
