Committing to Trust

Spread the love

“Commit your way to the LORD. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will make your righteousness shine out like light, and your justice as the noon day sun.” Psalm 37:5-6

It’s all about trust. With trust, all things are possible. Trust is most certainly the vessel from which all our freedom and faith flows. Without trust, faith is hollow and weak at best.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight.
In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.
Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord, and turn away from evil.” Proverbs 3:5-7

When we lay our trust upon God, fully and without reservations, we release the power of faith. Trust and faith bring total freedom. Freedom beyond what the Constitution promises or any government or person or thing can dream to bring a soul.

It is upon trust that we find the true strength of Divine Mercy. Without trust, the soul holds to its sin and guilt. Full trust pours out the infinite power of Mercy, filling him with light. It is only then the soul can see it is free of what may darken the soul. Sin and guilt have no hold, the enemy’s whispers and shouts are silenced.

Stop looking to how ‘I can’ do anything. Start trusting to God and His power and wisdom. Be freed in trust.
