“All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work.” – 2 Timothy 3:16-17
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” – Psalm 119:105
As a Catholic, you just have to spend time in the word of God, delving into the holy scriptures. We have the honor of being the Bible Church. Catholics are responsible for the canon of the Bible and go through the Bible in her three year cycle. The Christian denominations pick and choose what their pastor feels like talking about.

Ed, I read your blog first thing each day. Many times your words are very much what I need to hear. Thank you. One of my favorite Bible verses is Revelations 21:4 “And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
Amen
