““My daughter, know that My Heart is mercy itself. From this sea of mercy, graces flow out upon the whole world. No soul that has approached Me has ever gone away unconsoled. All misery gets buried in the depths of My mercy, and every saving and sanctifying grace flows from this fountain.” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 1777
Image a huge stone quarry pit, dug deep and wide, close your eyes and from the edge, throw a small pin as hard as you can into that pit. Then, fill the pit to the top, pack it down and mound it a mile high.
This pin would be easier to find than your sin when thrown into depths of Jesus’ Divine Mercy
Jesus talks to St. Faustina many times of the “sea of mercy” and “ocean of mercy.” Realize today that the Lord knew everything you were going to do. He knew every moment of your life before He went to the Cross, and He did it anyway, all out of love. Then, let it wash over you, let it crash over you, like an ocean!”
Drop a penny in the middle of the ocean, it will be soaked immediately, and lost forever in the depths. Just like your sin. In the Confessional, in absolute trust, throw your sins into this ‘Ocean of Mercy” – let it sink into the depth of Divine Mercy, never to be seen again.
Then, burst forth into a new life.
