I was born and baptized Catholic but being honest, I never had any faith, never believed in God or even really prayed to Him. But, 19 years ago, I met a woman who changed my relationship with Jesus. She has been my wife since 2002 and since the day we met I’ve been on a trajectory to draw closer to God. We have 4 awesome children from prior marriages and have drawn such love from our family. I have 2 grandchildren who lift me heart closer to God every time I see them.
In 2010, I began a new journey into a much deeper and personal relationship with God through the writings of St. Faustina and the Divine Mercy. This all started during a time of crisis in which our eldest daughter was diagnosed with Lupus Nephritis and nearly died. The Lord miraculously came to her twice within that first year and spoke to me several times. On a Friday night in February 2011, I had a night of crisis on faith when my daughter went into respiratory failure. But, despite my faith crumbling that evening, God never left my side. That night, as she lay on a ventilatory, at her bedside, Jesus came to me and introduced me to St. Faustina and the Divine Mercy Chaplet. My life has never been the same since.
I am an author, having written and published the story of that year’s journey of faith in “I Knew His Voice”. My book is available on Amazon in paperback or Kindle versions. You can also link directly to Amazon on the Catalog page in the menu on each page of my blog site.
