“In the beginning” of the new year, 2026, we find God already here, waiting for us to welcome us. We can take solace in this fact, that “in the” anything, God IS there and WAS there and WILL BE there when we get whenever or where ever that is.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being in him was life, and the life was the light of all people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.” – John 1:1-5
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
