“Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.” Isaiah 41:10
“Be still and know that I am God” Psalm 46:10
What is there to fear when one trusts in God? The soul has nothing to fear when he knows God is with him.
That is one thing God has shown me through the events of my life. In the trials and most dark nights, God has never abandoned me. In fact, in these times God draws nearer. Even when I walked through my dark night, when I felt most alone, and even to a degree, when God stepped back His presence from me, He was near. God gave me to see that dark night was to test my soul by opening my eyes. God allowed the darkness to surround me, He stepped back and let me walk the path alone. He allowed this because in that moment this was precisely what I was demanding of Him. “I can do this on my own!” So, He gave me my desire. But, God gave me to see in a vision, that in the darkest parts of the path, He always kept lights close that though I may be wandering alone, I was never far from the path. His light illuminated my steps. He kept me from being lost by His hand and light.
It is the same for you. Reflect back to a moment of doubt or fear, a dark time and see that God was never far off, He may have been carrying you.
God promises that those souls who trust in Him and surrender to His Guidance will be strengthen by He Himself. He will feed this soul with His own Body and fill him with His Holiness. God Himself will not only help the soul move through the darkness, He will carry the soul and light his path.
God is our strength and He is our light. God is all we need. We just need to trust in Him and His ways. If we struggle in that moment, no worries, God will strengthen us with His presence and love.
