Be Made Clean

Spread the love

I love when God writes a reflection for The Road of Faith using His own words and stories.

I sit this morning pondering upon sin and the Sacrament of Reconciliation – as Jesus refers to it, “the Tribunal of Mercy”. And, God gives me these texts…

“If you wish, you can make me clean.” Mark 1:40

Were a soul like a decaying corpse so that from a human standpoint, there would be no [hope of]restoration and everything would already be lost, it is not so with God. The miracle of Divine Mercy restores that soul in full.” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 1448

Have confidence, My child. Do not lose heart in coming for pardon, for I am always ready to forgive you. As often as you beg for it, you glorify My mercy.” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 1488

“Moved with pity, Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, and said to him, “I do choose. Be made clean!” Immediately the leprosy[e] left him, and he was made clean.” Mark 1:41-42

“..in the Tribunal of Mercy [the Sacrament of Reconciliation]. There the greatest miracles take place [and] are incessantly repeated” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 1448

We all suffer the ‘leprosy’ of sin. It decays and destroys our eternal soul. Sin is more debilitating than any physical illness. “fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul” Matthew 10:28

Yet, all we must do through the Tribunal of Mercy is stretch out our hand, saying and trusting as this leper in Mark’s Gospel, “If you wish, you can make me clean.”

Come contrite, humble and full of this kind of trust, and Jesus will have pity, responding to you in the same manner, “I do choose. Be made clean!

It’s in His very nature, it is His nature through His Divine Mercy, with the Blood and Water from His Sacred Heart to wash clean any sin diseased soul which comes to Him in this humble trust.

Go! Run quickly to the Tribunal of Mercy. Be made clean!
