Good times produce bad men – bad times produce great men. Now is the time…
Imagine a world where good Catholics do not speak the truth. They don’t speak out when they see a lie. They are silent on the face of sin. What then of those who don’t know the truth? If nothing is said as life is destroyed or our freedoms are ripped away, what of the next generation?
We need to show the courage and conviction to stand even when our leaders will not. Even if we are the only voice crying out in the wilderness.
“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are you when people revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account.” Matthew 5:10-11
Do this and face persecution and attack. Speak up and be the saint God created you to be, unafraid to speak of THE Truth, that is Jesus Christ. Shine so brightly within your soul that others will open their eyes and walk out from the darkness. Then, you will be unashamed to stand before God knowing you did all you could to lead others to Him. Speak up in love and grace as did Jesus. Unafraid to tell the ‘Pharisee’ when they’re misleading the masses. Unashamed to stand with sinners and ‘tax collectors’ so they can hear of God’s love. Unafraid to show anger and flip some tables to get attention to show another zeal for God’s house. Courageous enough to face passion and carry the cross.
By standing for the truth in today’s society, you can be assured that you will face attack and martyrdom (if not in death at least in being singled out, condemned or more). We are faced with a terrible end or endless terror. The question is, will you stand for the truth and face condemnation in the world? Or, hide in fear to face eternal condemnation?
Now is the time to awake o’ sleeper and arise for your King.
