“When the Mother of God was speaking to me, Jesus stretched out His tiny hands toward the congregation. The Blessed Mother was telling me to accept all that God asked of me like a little child, without questioning” Divine Mercy in my soul # 529
Accepting the Father’s Will in your life follows Jesus’ lead. He accepted everything His Father willed from the crib to the cross and tomb. He didn’t grudgingly accept the Father’s Will, He desires the Divine Will. The Father’s Will was Jesus’ Will and greatest desire.
We can live this way and really that should be our goal. To come to a point in which we are totally within the Divine Will. Not something most of us can just do. We have to learn how to live within the Divine Will and it is great that the Father is a loving, patient teacher. He also sent His Son as a teacher and leader.
Read the ‘red words’ in the Bible. A good place to go to see an advanced lesson in loving the Divine Will is the passion narratives. Matthew 26:36-27, John 18:33-38. Gethsemane is a ‘graduate’ level class. But, start at the beginning. Read step by step from the beginning of the Gospels. Jesus starts at the humblest place in the manger and leads you through.
He is still present and teaching the Divine Will. Read “The Kingdom of the Divine Will” and “Divine Mercy in my soul”. These are great teaching lessons in accepting God’s Will.
Read my book, “I knew His word”, He slowly walked me through many lessons in Divine Will. There are times of test that might be difficult. But, God gives us all the answers…the answer. Prayerful surrender.
“For God alone my soul waits in silence,
for my hope is from him.
He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall not be shaken.” Psalm 62:5-6
Accepting the Father’s Will in difficult moments is a great course. To be able to walk in the trial and darkness, accepting God’s Will into your life being the fruit of total peace and joy. in these times, we learn how close Jesus is to us. We see His presence with the veil pulled back. We come to understand the depth of God’s love for you. Knowing this love brings peace as we know God is God, He is all sovereign and in control of all events. At this point, the math is easy; love + Divine Will = peace. We realize by resting in His Divine Will, we see that we have no worries, God has it under control.
The spiritual valleys and mountains all become straight and level, all become beautiful.
“But my soul was filled with great joy and gladness, and I said to the Lord, ‘Do with me as You please; I am ready for everything, but You, O Lord, must not abandon me even for a moment’” Divine Mercy in my soul # 529
