“A pure soul has inconceivable power before God.” Divine Mercy in My Soul # 534
One of the best times to raise your most powerful intercessory requests may be following the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
Following receiving of the Holy Eucharist, the soul is filled with the Holy Spirit and the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus. Immediately following confession, with the words of the Church’s absolution fresh in the ear, and Divine Mercy still pulsing through the heart, the soul is purest, cleansed of his sin. This is the moment of inconceivable power before God.
The righteousness and purity of the soul speaking his intercessions rings like a pure bell before God’s throne.
“The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective.” James 5:16
Take the moment following your prayers of penance and praise of God’s Divine Mercy to lift your intercessions before the Father. The pure shine of your soul in this moment will turn His eye your way. The crystalline purity of your voice will turn His ear. In this moment, your prayer is heard.
