1 John 4:8

Spread the love

The most important question you can ponder today – the most important question that you may answer today is “do you know the love of God?”

To know that you are loved by God, that is enough.

St. Francis said “oh God, You are enough for me.” He didn’t say “You are everything to me.” “You are enough for me.”

“Oh, but, if you knew what I’ve done, you’d know why God could never love me.” The truth of Divine Mercy is that God truly does love you, despite and maybe even because of what you’ve done. God simply love you because you are His child. You are worth everything, even His own suffering and death.

The fact of all you’ve done does not and can never change the fact that God loves you. In fact, by His Own Being and nature, He can do nothing less than to love you. And, to love you with all His Being, all His Holy Being.

When we experience the love of God, things change. Everything changes.

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and kindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And You shall renew the face of the earth.”

I know from all I’ve done through my life that I am the least worthy of God’s love. In fact, I should be condemned and cast out of His Presence. I know this from the vision of my Illumination of Conscience that I should be judged and condemned to Hell. But, in this same vision, the Father showed me His love. The depth of His love is that, on the cusp of the victory of the adversary, Jesus stepped in and claimed me as His Son.

God the Father loves you completely and totally. He love you as only God can love. Beyond any human idea.

Do you know God’s love? Pray over that. Ask God to help you see and know the depth of His love of you.
